The Jesture series is a continuation of photographer and designer Martyn Thompson's collaboration with UK-based ceramic specialists 1882 Ltd. Drawing on a lively carnival landscape and introducing a new body of work from Thompson, the collection merges stacked vessels, oversized hand thrown vases and striking planters for a lineup that is romantic, ethereal and abstract all at once. 'Jesture Kitten' is a low, wide necked vessel on which earthy tones are punctuated by flashes of deep red in an embodiment of the spontaneity of this series.
