The Winchcombe King Size Sleigh Bed combines soft curved headboard and footboard with traditional joinery for a timeless, robust construction. Hand-finished with a blend of stains and glazes, the oak is then sealed with oil to protect its subtle natural grain, meaning no two pieces are identical. Its elegantly curved silhouette is shaped from solid oak with deep natural grain detailing, while the overall frame delivers a sturdy, enduring structure.
Winchcombe is made exclusively for The Cotswold Company, using our signature joinery and finish - you won't find it, or our quality, anywhere else. We've taken all the charm and traditional character that inspired the Winchcombe range for our beautiful sleigh bed. Soft curves at both ends help to accentuate its elegance and carefully crafted design for a bed that feels timeless and robust. Inspired by a Georgian bow-fronted chest spotted at an antiques market, the Winchcombe range features a deep, natural grain, soft-close drawers and generous storage - thanks to its elegantly curved shape - that make every piece a pleasure to live with. It combines delicate cornicing with traditional woodwork for a timeless feel. Shaped entirely by nature, no two pieces are ever the same. To preserve the oak's natural beauty, the timber is hand-finished with a combination of stains and glazes to achieve its Oiled Oak tone. It is then sealed with oil to protect the oak's subtle, natural grain traces.
