The Bedstead Traditional mattress features hand-nested calico pocket spring construction with 1254 springs in the King size, offering firm tension for structured, even support across the sleep surface. Its upholstery combines a wool spring protector pad with bonded and blended British fleece wool and cotton fillings, while hand tufting with felt washers secures the layers for lasting shape retention. The borders are finished with 2 rows of hand side-stitching and upholstered with protective wool, with horizontal handles and air vents completing the construction. Overall mattress depth measures 21cm with 6cm doming (+/-2cm).
