Crafted from solid fragrant Lebanese cedar wood, every Vitae Stool is turned and carved by hand to create its distinct hourglass style design, painstakingly crafted by the most talented and dedicated Italian craftsmen. As a stool or as a standalone piece, it has a unique sculptural quality. The nature of this piece, and the use of natural materials with their own characteristics means each Vitae stool is a true one-off with its own subtleties and individual wood grain pattern. Every stool is stamped with the distinctive Riva 1920 logo. As typical of solid wood products, Vitae may alter over time, determined by the conditions and humidity of its environment it ages over time. Small cracks or splits are considered normal, adding maturity and character as time passes. Vitae matures well with age to give years of pleasure and functionality in any setting.
