The Bungalow Stool combines solid walnut construction with interwoven full grain leather straps for distinctive seating. Its turned walnut frame is hand-assembled and smoothed, while the leather strap seat provides flexible support and visual appeal. The handcrafted construction ensures durability, and the included maintenance kit helps preserve the materials over time.
Constructed from a solid walnut frame with leather strap seating, the design brief behind this piece was to create something that is more than a stool. Designer Durie considers it a real piece of furniture to show off. Solid walnut wood is turned, assembled and then smoothed by hand. Italian craftsmen then realise the chair seat by interweaving full grain leather straps. A maintenance kit and instructions are included to keep the stool looking its best for years to come.
