The bed offers a solid rectangular frame with smooth American oak lines, punctuated by sharp cornered joinery and a curving headboard. Its traditional slats are closely spaced to provide firm support that accommodates various mattresses, while the powder coated metal legs lend an industrial aesthetic. The design pays tribute to modernist principles with manufactured elements, and the tubular finish creates a cohesive look.
At the heart of the Brunel Bed lies a solid rectangular frame, its smooth lines of American oak punctuated by sharp cornered joinery plus the curving line of its stretching headboard. To ensure a comfortable night's sleep, the traditional slats of the base have been closely spaced to provide firm support that suits a range of mattresses. Paying tribute to the pioneering use of manufactured elements within modernist design, powder coated metal legs support the structure while also lending an industrial feel that blends perfectly with the tubular finish of the Brunel range.
