The Avenue d'Amour Super King Size Bed Frame offers architectural detailing drawn from classical doorway designs, with fluting, inset panels, and pelmet-style elements across its construction. The oatmeal finish responds to varying light conditions, appearing warmer in south-facing settings and more muted in north-facing ones. Rounded upper corners, small circular accents, and tapered legs complete the structured yet refined frame.
To mark 20 years of French Bedroom, we have collaborated with Country Homes & Interiors Magazine to design a signature collection of furniture inspired by the timeless elegance of classical architecture. The Avenue d'Amour collection has just the right amount of historically influenced detail: fluting, inset panels and pelmets, whilst the oatmeal colour falls between chalk, parchment, and island sand. The warm tones form a neutral base with personality, responding to the light in your home (south-facing rooms will bring out the warmth, in north-facing rooms the colour will look more muted). The furniture pieces will sit in all homes - from stately Georgian properties, to idyllic country cottages and modern homes. The Avenue d'Amour Bed takes inspiration from a stately home doorway architrave. The rounded upper corners and small circular details nod to the designs of the Victorian design era, and the tapered legs complete its graceful form. "Avenue d'Amour is a collection that feels fresh but timeless. Simple but never plain, the designs make a room feel calm without overpowering your space, bringing that quiet, cozy elegance that makes a house feel like home". Georgia, Founder & Creative Director
