The Avenue d'Amour Chest of Drawers combines architectural detailing with a warm oatmeal finish that shifts between chalk, parchment, and sand tones depending on the light. The top drawer features fluted detailing at a shallow depth for easy access, while the two lower drawers carry scalloped inset corner detailing and brass handles for contrast. Tapered legs complete the silhouette, adding a refined, feminine edge to the overall construction.
To mark 20 years of French Bedroom, we have collaborated with Country Homes & Interiors Magazine to design a signature collection of furniture inspired by the timeless elegance of classical architecture. The Avenue d'Amour collection has just the right amount of historically influenced detail: fluting, inset panels and pelmets, whilst the oatmeal colour falls between chalk, parchment, and island sand. The warm tones form a neutral base with personality, responding to the light in your home (south-facing rooms will bring out the warmth, in north-facing rooms the colour will look more muted). The furniture pieces will sit in all homes - from stately Georgian properties, to idyllic country cottages and modern homes. The Avenue d'Amour Chest of Drawers has a shallow depth top drawer to allow easy access to everyday items (the perfect depth to display your bra collection!).The top drawer features fluted detailing, two further drawers have scalloped inset corner detailing, providing contrast to the fluted drawer, each with brass handles. The chest is finished with tapered legs that lend a feminine edge. "Avenue d'Amour is a collection that feels fresh but timeless. Simple but never plain, the designs make a room feel calm without overpowering your space, bringing that quiet, cozy elegance that makes a house feel like home". Georgia, Founder & Creative Director
