The fabric includes rear cord clips that serve as a child safety mechanism, detaching under pressure to reduce strangulation risk and re-clipping easily if displaced. Widths over 130cm may include a fabric join to achieve the full required width.

They also double up as a child safety feature. If pressure is exerted the clips will detach to prevent the risk of strangulation. If the clips detach accidentally during normal use, they can be easily re-clipped back into place.
