The Stellis hand-knotted rug features a tie and dye technique where wool skeins are immersed in successive colour baths, producing subtle gradations and a speckled multi-tonal effect across each piece. Constructed from 100% wool at a dense 3800g/m² with a 30mm pile height, it provides substantial underfoot cushioning while the natural fibre acts as a thermal and sound insulator. Hand-woven by artisan weavers in India using ancestral knotting methods, each rug carries slight colour variations that are inherent to the handcrafted process.
