The lounge chair combines comfort with distinctive design through its deeper seating and reclined angle, accented by a natural woven seat against the black beech frame. Its back and armrests create an almost perfect circular form from above, while the solid wood construction provides reliable support. The laid-back positioning delivers enhanced relaxation, and the natural woven seat offers breathable comfort for longer sitting periods.
The jump from a comfortable dining chair to a good lounge chair was not prohibitive when Jorgen Bakmark created the J82. The lounge chair is a little deeper and more laid back than the dining chairs and of course making it even more comfortable, but it also offers some new design qualities. For example, consider this chair from above - the back and armrests form almost a closed, perfect circle.
