The Avalon wallpaper combines a hand-drawn botanical print with a warm Puce Pink ground, allowing the watercolour tones of the floral motifs to stand out with depth and contrast. Featuring sunflowers, poppies, daisies, and lilies drawn in pencil and watercolour, the design originates from an archive print that has been carefully restored. The layered illustration technique produces a painterly finish with visible pencil detailing beneath the colour washes.
