The Crazy Japan Vase features hand-thrown stoneware construction with bold brush strokes in vivid colors. Its glossy glazed finish provides durability and food-safe functionality, while the high-temperature firing at 1240°C ensures lasting quality. The hand-painted design combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with contemporary artistic expression.
We partnered with Greek visual artist Leonie Yagdjoglou, to showcase a few of her vessel objects. This hand thrown object is part of a series of various vessels called Crazy Japan. They are inspired by the particular aesthetic and culture of Japan. Instead of the minimalistic character that usually prevails in Japan, strong brush strokes with vivid colors and black were intentionally applied. Hand-thrown + Hand painted stoneware.
