The Shape 01 vase features a complex organic profile achieved through mouthblown glass construction, creating subtle shadow play across its curved surface. Each vessel is wholly unique, with slightly different curves resulting from the handcrafted glassblowing process. The organic silhouette lends itself to flower arrangements, while the brown tint adds depth to the natural asymmetry of the form.
Taken from Piet Boon's collection for Serax, this mouthblown glass vase combines shadow play with a complex but organic profile that can only be achieved by very experienced glassblowers. The result is one component of a series of wholly unique vessels, each with their own slightly different curves that lend themselves to beautiful flower arrangements.
