The Gardens of Lyra Milk Jug features fine bone china construction developed through a collaboration between Fortnum & Mason, ceramicist Spode, and artist Paul Scott. Its transferware-inspired pattern draws from Spode's 250-year archive, with collaged engravings rendered in delicate lines and fading graphics that reflect the character of aged printmaking. The blue and white decoration is applied via a transfer process that preserves faint surface marks and tonal variation inherent to the original engravings. Both dishwasher and microwave safe, it holds 200ml and measures W10 x D5 x H10 cm.
