'Kamakura'’s silhouette, with its study, reinforced base, draws playfully on the weight and form of a stove-top teakettle. The characterful design expands the traditional oval shape of the pot, shortens the spout and places the handle on the side. The delicate lid is nestled inside a glass bowl. Revealing the rich colors of its contents, the movement of the tea inside, the teapot also seems to float as it's poured, airy and somehow momentarily invisible.
