The soup plate set provides bold motifs on both sides with hand-applied clear glazing. Its circular patterns feature feminine figures in multicolored tones, while the raised porcelain surface offers scratch and abrasion resistance. The glazed finish emphasizes the decorative details and ensures long-lasting performance.
Featuring a bold motif on both sides that is based on an archival foulard print, this duo of porcelain 'Carretto Siciliano' soup plates recalls the beauty of Sicilian traditions, artistic craftsmanship and memorable colors at once. Such themes are at the heart of Dolce & Gabbana Casa's collections, which celebrate a timeless Sicilian charm, particularly through masterful Italian craftsmanship, which is seen on this duo in the hand application of a clear glaze on each plate. The result is a slightly raised surface on both pieces that makes the set resistant to scratches and abrasions, while simultaneously emphasizing each plate's circular motif, which features a feminine figure encompassed by a circular pattern in multicolored tones.
