The Viana sauce bowls feature hand-painted brushstroke detailing on enamelled stoneware, creating a striped watercolour effect where each piece varies slightly in pattern. Handcrafted in Portugal by a family ceramics business operating since 1886, the reactive enamel glaze produces subtle tonal variations that make every bowl unique. The stoneware construction uses locally sourced sandstone from within 10km of the manufactory, lending an authentically regional character to the material.
