The Gandra dessert plates combine handcrafted artistry with functional tableware, each piece shaped from glazed stoneware by Portuguese artisans with roots dating back to 1886. The reactive enamel finish creates subtle variations in tone across each plate, with contours that oscillate between matte and shiny surfaces to interact with light. Locally sourced sandstone from within 10km of the manufacturing site forms the ceramic body, contributing to the slightly irregular edges characteristic of hand-thrown pieces. Each plate measures 22cm in diameter and 2.5cm in height, and is both dishwasher and microwave compatible.
