The Benn dessert plates offer a sparkly reactive glaze finish over hand-thrown stoneware, with a surface that moves between matte and shiny depending on the light. Soft curves and slightly irregular contours characterise each piece, reflecting the individual nature of the hand-making process used by the Portuguese ceramist. The reactive enamel generates nuanced ecru and beige tonal variations across the set, while the stoneware body remains dishwasher and microwave compatible. Crafted using locally harvested sandstone clay by a family-run ceramics workshop in Portugal with roots dating to 1886. Each plate measures Ø21.6 x H3.8 cm.
