The Battica dessert plates combine a white glazed stoneware construction with a subtly speckled appearance and a delicately rounded rim. Each piece is handcrafted by a Portuguese family ceramics business operating since 1886, with the reactive enamel glaze producing slight natural variations in tint across individual plates. The sandstone used in the ceramic is sourced locally within 10km of the place of manufacture, while the matt finish carries a touch of gloss for added character. Dishwasher and microwave safe, the set includes 4 plates at 21.5cm diameter x 2cm height.
