The Nephrite table lamp base features a figure-of-eight silhouette crafted from ceramic, with a deep antique green glaze that draws from the layered tones of nephrite jade. Its multi-tonal green finish shifts across the surface, replicating the glistening quality of the carved stone it references. The ceramic construction provides a solid, weighted base suited to standard lamp fittings.
While this figure-of-eight-shaped table lamp is made from ceramic, its depth of colour (think an array of glistening green shades) evokes a precious crystal - nephrite jade. The dark green stone that inspired this lamp's hue was the first of its kind to be carved and used by early neolithic man.
