The table lamp offers intuitive lighting control with its rotating cylindrical base that activates and dims the light output. Its aluminium construction provides durability and modern appeal, while the simple twist mechanism eliminates the need for traditional switches. The foolproof design combines functionality with minimalist aesthetics, and the solid base ensures stable operation.
In partnership with Danish brand Hay and Wrong.London, Joel Hoff has created an effortlessly simple light. The 'Turn On' lamp is illuminated by the simple act of rotating the cylindrical aluminium base - an action which also allows users to dim or increase the light output. The result is a foolproof design which also happens to be the 2015 Design of the Year, awarded by London's Design Museum.
