The Touch small bowl combines hand-carved detailing with a walnut oil finish that deepens the natural richness of the walnut wood. Designed by Studioilse for a collection recognised on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity List, each piece is crafted by skilled Bosnian artisans using techniques passed down through generations. The carved base engages the senses directly, and the handmade process means every bowl carries its own distinct character.
Begging to be felt, grazed and stroked, each piece in the 'Touch' collection of trays and bowls seriously lives up to the name of the series. Designed by Studioilse for Zanat, the pieces prominently feature the hand carvings for which the Bosnian brand is now famed for — and won it a place on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity List — each created instinctively by skilled craftsmen, ensuring no two pieces are the same. This small walnut wood bowl offers an intricately detailed base that engages with our instinctive impulse to touch.
