The Amalfi Coast vase features hand-painted terracotta and blue brushwork inspired by the southern Italian coastline, interpreted through a Dutch design sensibility. Each piece carries the slightly uneven strokes characteristic of single-artisan production, giving it a distinct handcrafted quality. Its 23.5cm height works alongside taller vessels in a grouped arrangement or stands independently on a shelf.
The windowsill that has held the same vase for three summers. Hand-painted by local artisan. Designed in Amsterdam, each piece carries the slightly uneven brushwork that comes from a single pair of hands — the terracotta and blue drawn from the southern Italian coast, interpreted through a northern European eye. At 23.5cm it works beside taller pieces or alone, on a shelf that already has its own story. The kind of vase that updates any interior.
