The Twister salt and pepper mill features a scooped concave scallop shape, finished in a high-gloss orange lacquer applied in 8 coats, each hand-polished between applications. Constructed from sustainably sourced rubber wood, the ceramic grinding mechanism operates with a clockwise motion and is suitable for rock salt (dry crystals) or black peppercorns. The lacquered surface is compliant with EU food contact legislation (Directive 84/500/EEC and Directive 2005/31/EC) and should be wiped clean with a damp cloth rather than immersed in water.
