Its ceramic grinding mechanism activates with a simple clockwise motion, while the adjustable grind button allows control over coarseness by tightening or loosening the top knob. Suitable for black peppercorns or dry rock salt up to 4mm in size; not compatible with sea salt, wet salt, or pink peppercorns.
