Its ceramic grinding mechanism activates with a clockwise motion, with an adjustable grind button that delivers finer results when tightened. Compatible with dry rock salt crystals or black peppercorns up to 4mm in size, while sea salt, wet salt, and pink peppercorns should be avoided to protect the mechanism.
