The Roots sofa bed combines an FSC-certified pine wood frame with an 80% cotton and 20% polyester cover in a petrol blue finish, converting between sofa, raised-backrest lounger, and flat bed positions. Its 12 cm recycled mixed-fibre mattress includes a 4 cm foam core, resting at a bed height of 20 cm when fully extended. The handcrafted pine construction supports up to 350 kg in the wider 160 cm configuration, with natural wood grain and knots varying between pieces.
