The Capas rug features a hand-woven Kilim construction developed through a loose warp-and-weft structure that allows the colours of both layers to visibly intermingle. By varying the density of the warp — typically hidden in standard Kilim weaving — the design produces shifting tonalities and a dark-and-light depth effect across the surface. The 100% hand-spun Afghan wool pile carries a casual, lightweight feel while the layered colour geometry adds visual complexity. Dry cleaning only; professional cleaning is recommended.
