The Blur rug by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec features a kinetic geometric pattern built from rhythmic rhombuses that shift in appearance depending on viewing distance. Up close, precise lines and proportioned shapes emerge, while from afar the surface dissolves into a soft, unfocused blur through an inverted kilim weaving technique. This reversal of traditional weaving direction causes two colours to blend unevenly along each line, producing a naturally aged, tonal effect. Constructed from 100% hand-spun Afghan wool and hand-woven in Pakistan, the rug requires dry cleaning only with professional cleaning recommended. Available in 170 x 240 cm and 200 x 300 cm.
