The Hotep rug features a dense, velvety pile hand-knotted by Indian artisans, combining 77% wool with 14% lyocell for a warm, tactile surface. At 16mm thickness and 3000g/m² weight, the construction provides substantial underfoot cushioning while the wool-lyocell blend delivers natural thermal and acoustic insulation. Each piece is individually handcrafted, meaning subtle shade variations occur between rugs as a result of the knotting process. Dry cleaning is recommended, with vacuuming kept minimal during the first month to allow the fibres to settle naturally.
