Direction Desk with Splayed Legs - Natural, Oak

The direction desk combines solid oak construction with striking metal legs that recall compass hinges. Its oiled wood surface provides durability for daily use, while the splayed base adds structural stability and visual contrast. The clean lines suit contemporary workspaces, and the rich material pairing offers both functionality and refined aesthetics.

Jean Prouvé’s striking 1950s Compas direction desk calls to mind the hinged arms of a compass (‘le compas’ in French). The desk’s oiled solid wood table top, ideal for everyday office use, and elegant, splayed metal legs form a richly contrasting mix of materials. With clean lines and sleek simplicity, the Compas direction desk is ideal for a modern office. Available in several base colour and oak finish options for optimum customisation to perfectly suit your space.
