The Ikora mugs feature a deep blue ombre finish achieved through a reactive glazing technique, where metal oxides and layered enamels are applied by hand after an initial firing. Each piece is crafted from high-quality stoneware clay in Portugal, with the interaction of oxides and enamels during firing producing a result that varies slightly in colour and texture, making every mug unique. The clean, minimalist form is finished entirely by hand, reflecting a ceramics tradition dating back to 1886. Both mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, with a capacity of 25cl each.
