The Ikora mugs feature a green and blue ombre effect created through a reactive glazing technique, where metal oxides and layered enamels interact during firing to produce a finish unique to each piece. Crafted in Portugal by a family-run ceramics business with roots dating back to 1886, each mug is hand-thrown from high-quality regional clay and worked using traditional artisan methods. The stoneware construction provides durability, while the natural glaze materials ensure the colour and texture vary subtly across every piece in the set.
