The Morris & Co. Rosehip empire lamp shade combines an interlocking tile-derived pattern with a soft linen base cloth, printed in indigo. The motifs were hand cut and hand printed from lino, producing the characteristic texture and slight variation of authentic block printing. A velvet tape trim finishes the edges, adding a tactile contrast to the printed surface.
