The Empire lampshade is made from Tussah silk, produced by wild Antheraea silkworms and woven in a traditional Indian style that results in a thicker, more textured handle than cultivated silk. The fabric carries a natural golden sheen and features characteristic slubs and irregularities from the hand-weaving process, giving the surface depth and variation. Its layered colouring moves through orange, coral, and raspberry tones, which the silk's natural lustre intensifies under light. Measures 20cm in diameter.
