The 16cm empire shade features hand-marbled paper crafted through a traditional water-marbling technique, in which paints and oils are raked across thickened water before the paper is laid on top to absorb the pattern. Each shade is unique by nature of the process, with no two pieces of marbled paper producing the same result. The Tiber colourway delivers a bold, blue-toned pattern across the surface, while the candle clip fitting allows direct attachment to a candle bulb without a separate base. Due to the smaller surface area, this shade is constructed with two seams.
