The Wishbone Chair combines traditional craftsmanship with its distinctive Y-shaped backrest and matte finish. Its woven paper cord seat requires over 120 meters of cord and an hour of skilled weaving, while the wooden frame involves over 100 construction steps. The chair provides comfortable seating with its ergonomic design, and the sturdy construction ensures lasting durability.
This special-edition CH24 Soft Wishbone Chair is a reimagining of the iconic chair with an irresistible matte finish. Originally designed by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1949, this colourful edition acts as a gentle counterpart to the original. Like the classic Wishbone Chair, there are over 100 steps involved in its creation. This includes the seat, which takes skilled craftspeople an hour to weave and calls for over 120 meters of paper cord.
