The Compas Direction Desk by Jean Prouvé combines a walnut wood tray with a bent sheet steel and tubular steel base finished in a smooth Japanese red epoxy coating. The warm walnut grain contrasts with the bold red steel structure, reflecting the industrial character of the original 1953 design. The tray measures 125 x 60 cm, with an overall height of 73 cm (W125 x D60 x H73 cm).
