The Kubus bowl draws from Mogens Lassen's original sketches, reflecting Bauhaus influences through clean functional lines and an abstract geometric form. Crafted in metal with a simple monochrome finish, it carries a structured silhouette that holds its visual weight across a range of uses, from displaying blossoms to holding fruits or sweets. Its compact size suits surfaces where a considered decorative object is needed without overwhelming the space.
Produced by Audo Copenhagen, developed from uniting MENU and by Lassen, the 'Kubus' bowl is rooted in Mogens Lassen's original sketches and as such brings together elements drawn from the Bauhaus movement — one of Lassen’s main sources of inspiration. These materialize in an application of clean, functional lines, a simple monochrome palette and abstract shapes, which together culminate in a memorable bowl. Crafted in Denmark, the metal bowl may be used in a variety of spaces in the home to contain everything from blossoms to herbs, fruits, vegetables or sweets.
