Always trim the wick to 4mm before lighting (the golden rule). No candle wick trimmer? No problem. A nail clipper should also do the trick! 2. Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar before lighting out the candles. This prevents tunnelling and will also allow you to maximise the scent. 3.
