The Winchcombe 7 Drawer Chest features a bow-curved front inspired by Georgian bow-fronted antique designs, offering a 4-over-3 drawer configuration with generous storage capacity. Its soft-close drawers are finished with antiqued metal handles and delicate cornicing, combining traditional woodwork details with practical function. The oiled oak construction is hand-finished with a combination of stains and glazes, then sealed with oil to protect the timber's natural grain — meaning no two pieces are identical. The curved front profile contributes to the depth of each drawer, maximising internal storage space throughout.
Winchcombe is made exclusively for The Cotswold Company, using our signature joinery and finish - you won't find it, or our quality, anywhere else. Tall and striking, our 4 over 3 tall chest is both elegant and timeless. Offering ample storage space with seven roomy drawers, the soft bow-curved front adds a welcoming nod to traditional design. Inspired by a Georgian bow-fronted chest spotted at an antiques market, the Winchcombe range features a deep, natural grain, soft-close drawers and generous storage - thanks to its elegantly curved shape - that make every piece a pleasure to live with. It combines antiqued metal handles and delicate cornicing with traditional woodwork for a timeless feel. Shaped entirely by nature, no two pieces are ever the same. To preserve the oak's natural beauty, the timber is hand-finished with a combination of stains and glazes to achieve its Oiled Oak tone. It is then sealed with oil to protect the oak's subtle, natural grain traces. Please Note: Due to the size and weight of this item, we use a specialized delivery service.
