The Pietra L 08 bookends feature a pair of Nero Marquinia marble bases, each paired with a perpendicular steel structure that creates a strong geometric contrast. The natural stone construction provides substantial weight and stability, while the steel element adds a structural rigidity that keeps books firmly in place. Each piece functions independently as a display object or works in tandem as a functional bookend set.
A pair of bookends, each cut from black Nero Marquinia marble, offer maximum impact with minimal effort, thanks to designer Piero Lissoni’s contemporary interpretation of natural stone. Paired with each marble base is a perpendicular steel structure for a strong and powerful presence that is just as compelling when displayed independently or alongside other items from the same collection.
