The Cotswold Company Super King Bed features a solid oak framework constructed with mortise and tenon joints for long-lasting structural integrity. Its dovetailed drawers run on traditional wooden drawer runners, combining classic joinery techniques with practical storage. The timber is hand-finished with a combination of stains and glazes to achieve the Smoked Oak tone, then sealed with a lacquer that preserves the wood's natural grain. As a natural material, each piece carries its own unique character with subtle variations in grain and texture.
A truly classic design, our Bibury super kingsize bed is built-to-last with a solid oak framework and durable mortise and tenon joints. Every piece in our Bibury collection is built with a solid oak framework and proudly showcases our usual Cotswold signature quality with mortise and tenon joints and strong dovetailed drawers. Together with timeless finishing details like traditional wooden drawer runners and delicate cornicing. Shaped entirely by nature, no two pieces are ever the same. To preserve the oak's natural beauty, the timber is hand-finished with a combination of stains and glazes to achieve its Smoked Oak tone. It is then sealed with a lacquer to protect the oak's subtle, natural grain traces.
