The LCW Chair features three-dimensional molded plywood construction, a technique pioneered by Charles and Ray Eames in their early material experiments. Its compound-curved seat and backrest shells are mounted on rubber shock mounts, which absorb movement and provide flexible support. The metal rod frame connects the components while keeping the overall structure lightweight, with the walnut plywood finish adding natural grain detail. Manufactured in Germany, the chair measures W56 x D61 x H68 cm, with a seat height of 30 cm and seat depth of 53 cm.
