The armchair features rounded geometries with thick padding and a curved shell design. Its upholstered shell provides comfort and relaxation, while the slender black lacquered steel feet add stability and durability. The leather construction offers lasting quality, and the curved form suits both modern and classic interiors.
Designed by Gastone Rinaldi in 1954, the 'Du 55' armchair was born from an exploration of rounded geometries, thicknesses and padding, and the relationship between solids and voids. The result is a chair full of personality, where consistency, originality and elegance manifest by way of a curved shell upholstered in Pelle Frau® Nest leather in 'Mattone' and slender black lacquered steel feet. Relaxing and comfortable, the Poltrona Frau-produced armchair is also reassuringly stable and durable.
