Founded in 1985, Holloways of Ludlow is a British interiors brand known for...
The lounge chair offers laid-back comfort with its large moulded backrest and gently tapered back legs. Its black leather upholstery provides durability and sophistication, while the soaped oak frame adds natural warmth. The design combines Danish Modern heritage with contemporary appeal, and the quality craftsmanship ensures lasting comfort.
This unique No 7 lounge chair takes its inspiration from the ageless No 7 dining chair designed in 1953. Continuing the high-quality craftsmanship and design heritage from his grandfather, Ditlev Sibast designed the lounge chair as a respectful transformation of the original chair and together with his wife, Anna, and in cooperation with New York-based designer Marcus Hannibal. The kinship with the dining chair is emphasised by the large moulded backrest and the gently tapered back legs. Other key qualities of the design include the laid-back comfort and simple expression. The lounge chair descends from the timeless beauty of the Danish Modern movement and is a bold and extraordinary design made with the fundamental attention to detail that runs in the Sibast family.
