The portable lamp provides wireless lighting with its battery-operated mechanism, featuring a tent-inspired form cut from resistant opal polycarbonate. Its glossy surface offers durability while maintaining clean lines, and the compact size delivers versatile placement options. The cordless design suits multiple environments, creating warm ambient lighting both indoors and outdoors.
Taken from a wider collection of lamps conceived by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa in collaboration with Danish brand Hay, the 'Pao' portable lamp is a modest and simple piece that will harmonise with a multitude of environments. Named for and inspired by the gentle shape of traditional Mongolian Pao tents, the lamp is cut from a resistant opal polycarbonate that lends the item a glossy finish and further enhances the simplicity of its silhouette. The result is a compact, battery-operated design that will introduce a warm glow into both indoor and outdoor spaces.
