Prepare sizzling stir-fry dishes with the Tower Smart Start Ulta-Forged Aluminium Wok. This wok has been crafted using 4.5mm forged aluminium with great heat conductivity properties and a lightweight design that ensures rapid heat-up and easy manoeuvrability. The innovative Aeroglide non-stick coating has a base layer with durable abrasion layers and the six-layer coating is fifteen times stronger than standard non-stick coatings. This wok has an inducto bonded steel base which features bonded base channels for even heat distribution, preventing hotspots and uneven cooking while the riveted steel handle provides comfort and easy manoeuvrability. This 28cm wok is oven-safe up to 220 degrees Celsius and features innovative SmartStart technology with a built-in temperature sensor that activates at 150 degrees Celsius. Put the wok onto the heat, wait for the SmartStart tick to change to dark red at 200 degrees Celsius and start cooking. All SmartStart pans are free from harmful chemicals such as PFOA, lead and cadmium. The ultra non-stick coating is abrasion-resistant, so you can use metal utensils without damaging the wok. The inducto base heats up 25% faster than standard induction bases. It is suitable for all hob types and induction hobs as well, it is dishwasher friendly but hand-wash is recommended.
